Bios
The Jokers are:
Bill-Drums/Vocals
Bill has a rich musical heritage, and like his old man, has a natural gift for playing the right thing at the right time...and making us all laugh. He is a talented drummer with deep chops across a wide spectrum of music, and usually makes me go with him to Rush concerts. Bill likes football, chocolate, and long walks on the beach.
Chris-Bass/Vocals
Chris is a founding member, and many of the ideas for the project come from him. Great chops, and an uncanny ability to seamlessly find the note, groove, and vibe on the fly. Chris is a Ravens fan, does Corvette restoration, and likes Harley's, fast cars, boats, and...other stuff.
Dave-Keyboards
Dave has been playing with us for a few years, when he is not playing with his legacy band "Layers". Great guy, exceptional player, and a great sense of humor...which is nice :-)
Mike-Sound
Mike is a talented engineer, and a great friend to us. We couldn't do what we do without him, so we let him sing on occasion. Mike likes red flight cases, Midas boards, and feeding wierd duck noises into our monitors when we are playing.
Rich started the band with Chris in his basement in October, 2000. Rich is a chameleon with guitar tone, and usually brings a different amp setup to gigs. Once he forgot his amp, but that was an isolated incident.
Tami-Vocals
Tami started with us one night when our lead singer cancelled, and she happened to be in the audience! Crazy stuff, but she has been fronting the band ever since, and is a really great singer. Tami is a marine biologist during the day, and a diva at night.
